Victorian Cut Glass Decanter c.1800's
This is a fabulous Victorian cut glass decanter with a diamond pattern hand cut onto the body of the decanter with a facet cut neck leading up to a pinched wavy shaped rim, the stopper is facet cut and the footed base is star cut.
The decanter is in very good condition with no cracks or chips, there is an occasional very very slight mark commensurate with age and being handled but nothing serious or detrimental to this fabulous item, there is also a teeny nibble on the base of the stopper (please see photos), but this isn't seen when the stopper is in the decanter.
Measurements:
12+7/8" (32.7 cm) tall to the top of the stopper
