This lovely vase is part of the SHERWOOD range, designed in 1961 by Glyn Colledge for Langley Pottery. It has a beautiful stipple texture body with hand painted stylised leaf shapes in oranges, browns & yellow/greens. The base has the blue windmill stamp which was in use between 1963 & 1967.
The vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, there are some very slight signs of use commensurate with its age but nothing detrimental.
Measurements:
7" (17.8 cm) tall
3+5/16" (8.4 cm) wide across the rim
3+3/8" (8.6 cm) wide across the base
